1. What is Antonio’s mood going into the trial? How does this compare with his mood in Act I? Antonio's mood going into the trial was despair. Antonio already gave up his life because he lost everything that was in it such as love. His mood compared to Act I is worse. Antonio's mood back in Act I was sadness. Shylock was so adamant about the law because he hated Antonio and he seeks revenge against him. He thinks that Antonio is better off dead than he is alive. His attempt for revenge is greater because he wants Antonio to pay for all the lost ships. 4. How does Shylock feel about the outcome of the trial? How do you feel about it? Shylock lost his daughter, money and wealth to the trial. Shylock also had to change his religion to Christianity and he was allowed to live. I feel that this was the right thing to do. If someone had seek revenge against me by taking my life. I would be happy to take away some of the things they cherish, but not the soul. 5. Why would Portia ask Bassanio for the ring he had promised not to give away? What does this say about her character? Portia asked because she was testing Bassanio's loyalty to her. (3.1.19-20) The two merchants, Salerio and Solanio, are scare something might happen to them because they know how bitter Shylock can be. They then get into a brief argurment about if Launcelot is actually Gobbo's son or not. Gobbo is blind so he isn't sure if the man talking to him is telling the truth. 3. Launcelot and Jessica share common feelings about Shylock, what are they? And why do they have this certain feeling toward him. The feeling that Launcelot and Jessica share for Shylock is ashamed. Launcelot served under Shylock, but he is worried to be ruled over by a Jew. Jessica is ashamed to be born to Shylock. She is worried that she will dishonor her father for not being true to him. 4. What are the big plans that Jessica and Lorenzo have at the end of scene iii and during scene iv? Lorenzo received a letter from Jessica. It was a plan to get Jessica away from her father. 5. When is the last time you thought of escaping out of a relationship? Why did you feel this way? How did you act upon it? The last time I ever thought of escaping a relationship was when I was young. I was a disobedient child, and my dad would aways scold me. I always thought about sneaking out of the house whenever I got in trouble but I didn't do it. I just stayed in my bedroom thinking about what I've done wrong.

Portia worries about finding a husband, so what does she decide to do that she thinks will be best solution to her problem? Explain. Portia is worried in the change of behavior of her husband. So she decides to begs him to tell her by listing reasons why Brutus can trust her. 5. Who is Shylock? What is his importance in the story thus far? Shylock is a moneylender. He's important because he rivals Antonio. 6.What is the agreement Shylock and Antonio come to terms with? The agreement that shylock and Antonio come to terms with is Antonio paying his flesh in return if he doesn't pay back the money borrowed for Bassanio.
3. I have taken up new hobbies which are washing dishes and doing the laundry. These new hobbies are to get me out of my room and also to stop playing video games non stop. One thing I have cooked while I have been at home is rice. I also make myself some ramen. I would rather become uglier. I need to be smart if I want to go places in life. I have to use my brains and be "street smart". I have to take everything into account and be responsible while I grow older. Nope not a problem. Mental retardation was a common mental disorder among ADHD, Anxiety, Autism, and other disorders. It can be found before the age of 18 and can be very noticeable with its symptoms. People with Mental Retardation have trouble adapting to normal life and doing everyday tasks unlike normal people. Skills such as communication, physical activity, and even the ability to solve certain problems may seem simple and ordinary to everyone else, will be difficult and can be complicated for a person with Mental Retardation. It can be caused by trauma before, whether it be violence, abuse, or hardship. People with this disability can’t think like us, but instead they need help and assistance in accomplishing their daily problems. Mental Retardation can be linked to parental abuse as it is a form of trauma that can trigger Mental Retardation and can even depend how severe the condition was. All in all, Mental Retardation can lead to people not being able to do simple tasks like normal people can. Instead they must work much harder and get the help they need in order to fit in with others.
Mental Retardation is really common within families that use substances. According to a article taken from Healthline, mental retardation is caused by infection, drugs, alcohol, and other toxins. Metal retardation is also caused by oxygen deprivation, premature delivery, inherited disorders such as Down syndrome. Irresponsible care of your child may lead to mental retardation. Premature babies may have mental deficits meaning they will not be normal. They will have learning disabilties caused by the premature birth. Depending on the premature birth of a child there will be 4 catagories of mental retardation. There is mild, moderate, severe, and profound. If a baby is born with mild retardation, they can still survive. But if a baby is born with severe or profound mental retardation the baby will have a difficult time getting through life. Therefore, the child will be dependent and will need constant care and medical care. Mental Retardation is a disorder caused by irresponsible care by the parent. This may be caused by hardships encountered by the parent. The babies health is depended on by the parent whether it's genes or the illegal use of substances. It's their responsibilitiy to take care of their child. I stick with people
